Must be nice being a soprano.

Let’s not jump to conclusions. There’s an outside chance **Mindfield ** could be a tenor :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, I’d considered that possibility. He might also be a surgeon.

Hey, as long as you adopt the correct basis for analysis, it all makes perfect sense:

Does anyone else think it’s really odd that nutter groups who are entirely against science always have web sites?

Yeah, they’re like the bad guys in an Ayn Rand novel - railing against science and rational thought, hating those who understand it, but not above using its fruits for their own ends.

“Talk about being ungrateful.”
-Sagan(?)

Anything is possible if you can imagine it. That’s the wonder of being a scientist.

Then again, he could be a hairdresser…or two. He could be two hairdressers.

Wow, I just got a mental image of a really gay binary star system.

What gets me, is I’m fairly familiar with the bible and I don’t remember anywhere it speaking of the earth necessarily being the center of the solar system/universe? Not only are they way off on the science, but they’re not even getting the bible down right. Or web design, either.

Look at that, those stars aren’t so much revolving around each other as they are…sashaying!

That site is best experienced with a blood alcohol level of .25 or higher.

Someday I’m going to create a website with that disclaimer.

Hey, you have to admit, the statement does have a certain “truthy” feel to it.

Oh they get all in a twist over Joshua telling the Sun to stand still. How could he do that if it’s the Earth that moving? Not so smart now are you big guy.

Obviously there was a short in the ether.

Or perhaps the Divine Interface parsed the user request into the proper command, causing Earth to stop rotating for a time (with the side effect of causing the planet to tip over - that momentum had to go somewhere).

That’s the dorkiest thing I’ve heard all day. I love it!

Obviously that would mean a core dump.

That was a really odd thing to read just after reading D_Odds’s thread about the GM diet.

I took a core dump, once. Much to my surprise, people ended up moving into it. They even named it New Jersey. Crazy humans.

For the record though, I am not a soprano, a tenor, a surgeon or a hair dresser. Or even two hair dressers. I am a bacon, lettuce, tomato and bacon sandwich. With bacon salt.

In that case I will revolve around you any time.
