Have the standards of manhood today gone to the dogs?

Okay, that was funny.

Okay, then, it was the part where you said this:

“As far as the quality of the show, I have no idea. But I can grantee you as many Bronies watch the show for the ‘quality’ as there are men who read Playboy for the fashion articles.”

The confabulation with Playboy seemed (at least to him, I’m assuming) that you were implying that those who watched MLP were doing it for sexual gratification. (Whether you meant it that way or not.)

(And yes, I’m noticing that I’m sitting here doing an XKCD386 over cartoon horses. I’m kinda enjoying it.)

Yeah, that never happened. No one compared it to Breaking Bad, they used an analogy to dispute your bullshit about MLP fans being pedophiles.

Which is a dumb analogy, unless you’re willing to point out the internet subculture that has a reputation of writing erotic fanfiction about Walter White, or beating off to MS Paint drawings of Saul Goodman making love to Jessie.

I see you also know nothing about geography. Like all the other real men (not that you would know what real men do…or even are, for that matter), I tend to sleep at night.

By the way, people have always read Playboy for the articles. A large part of the magazine’s success is that it has great articles, interviews, and thought-provoking cartoons, not just nude pics. For the last, think “Gahan Wilson”. The mag has even had interviews or contributions of religious figures. Some of the best SF writers have been published in this particular periodical. On the subject of kids’ shows: the good ones do something rather well–they provide humor at two levels at the same time with the same words or actions. The humor is targeted on one level to the kids, on the other level to the adults. Those shows also get people, even adults, to ponder, to contemplate important social issues.

During my slumber, the other posters in this thread have done a great job of deciding your nonsense. There was no need for me to “sleeppost”.

Thanks, glad I could put that image in your brain. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Jack doesn’t know that we’ve switched his normal brand of coffee for decaf. Lets see if he notices.)

She’s cuddly and she’s bouncy
She’s like a rubber ball
He bounces her in the kitchen
He bounces her in the hall

And now his life is different
Since GF came his way
He wakes up in the morning
And has her on a tray!

She’s everything they said she was
And he wears a shit-eaten grin
And he only has to worry
In case Jack’s hot-air wears her thin…

Gee Jack, I’m not sure if you need a soap box or a stripper pole.
Q: Which will get you bus fare home so you don’t beat your girlfriend when you get there?

I have no interest in this “manhood” thing you’re talking about. You may keep it and whatever standard you wish to use for it.

Dumb or not, it was an analogy, that you either mistook for a comparison between the shows, or pretended was such a comparison. A claim you’re still making, despite evidently being aware that it was an analogy.

Is that how men debate?

1.) Look up “Rule 34”.
2.) Because a community “has a reputation” does not mean that reputation accurately describes a majority of that community.
3.) You could visit a MLP forum that isn’t 4chan, such as this one. Or this thread in particular at a different site will show you what bronies are like. (No, not all of them are that intelligent and well educated, just like not all of them are cloppers.)
4.) You could read this or this.

(ETA google for Walter White slash fiction.)

The fact that you know what “Rule 34” and “cloppers” are screams “Jack Mcllellan”…

Good lord…

Great way to not perpetuate the stereotypes about Bronies, dude. vomits

And seriously, just out of curiously, why is this such a big deal to you?

I confess to a mild fondness for pissing standing up. Otherwise, agreement.

Queer Eye for the Straight Girl?

You mention NAMBLA, NAMGLA, and registered sex offenders, then you make this comment. Makes one wonder.

Reported for calling out specific members as a pedophile

Dude, 11 minutes before you posted this, you implied that I was a pedophile (I had to google to see who “Jack Mcllellan” is.)

Nope, I just said you were the one bringing up “rule 34” and “cloppers” in this thread. Never said you were a pedophile, I’m still just wondering why MLP is such a big deal to you.

If you’re telling the truth about actually filing a report, then… heh, good luck with that.

Oh, I’m just horsing around.

Stop being such a neigh-sayer.

Don’t get upset and go off in a hoof.
