The two Acorn workers that allegedly offered advice on breaking the law to undercover film makers. I waited to here thier version of what happened but have never seen or read anything. If they were fired, Acorn couldn’t stop them from talking to the press could they?
Thanks.
Which employees? I think there were 4-5 cities where Acorn employees engaged in the same activity and I know that in at least three of them (Baltimore, San Diego and Washington DC) they had to fire employees at each location.
Here is the second set of employees to be fired;
If you Google a little you can find the rest. The guy in the San Diego office offered to help smuggle underage girls across the border to staff the brothel. He also asked for the rate that the girl on the video charged for her services. He later claimed he called his cousin (a LEO) two days later to report the activity but the film has footage of him already having committed several offenses.

I am not sure what happened with the employees in San Bernadino. That was the office where the lady falsely boasted that she had killed her husband.
Those are the four that I remember. There may have been more… Which ones are you interested in?
The OP was asking for information on what the employees themselves have had to say, not about the Fox News propaganda.
Yes, I guess I was thinking mainly of the two women in Baltimore. I was wondering if there was an interview where they (or any of the fired workers) said “Yes, these two college kids fooled us into thinking they were an actual pimp and prostitute.”
Also curious about how long they had worked at Acorn, how much they made, where they are now. I have a relative that was really wound up about the story and it seemed a little odd to me that the fired workers weren’t in the news giving thier side and I don’t really recall hearing much about them.
Fixed it for you.
Voluble was clarifying that more than two ACORN employees were fired in this case, and provided a legitimate cite.
The assertions in Voluble’s quote were spin and progaganda, not “news.”

My bad.
No, it wasn’t. They’re allegations supported by the evidence provided.
Factual statements may be incorrect or inaccurate, but they are not “spin.”
They are not factual statements, they are only allegations, and the “evidence” is highly suspect.
Thank goodness he wasn’t a Virgo.
Even if they were wrongly accused (which they obviously weren’t), the whole issue is a loser for ACORN and everyone involved. In terms of both ethics and publicity, the best thing to do is to snuff out the fire quickly and completely, which was done. The IRS and the Census rightly and quickly severed their ties with ACORN. Neither Democrats nor the media wanted to give the fire more air and allow it to rekindle.
Look, I know as well as you do that Fox is out to get Acorn because its a way to lob mudballs at Obama. Still, the post in question wasn’t intentionally dishonest or otherwise non-factual, was it? I say we move on. I’m interested in this, as well, because I’d like to know if the ACORN people got a fair deal, or if they got smeared.
Those are good things to want to know. I agree with Diogenes the Cynic that those things aren’t going to be ascertained by looking at Fox “News” or a blog called biggovernment.com.
The thing that seemed odd to me from the beginning was that seasoned Acorn workers, with a little bit of “street” savvy (one might assume), would be fooled by a couple white college kids decked out in over the top pimp and 'ho regalia.
Misanthrope that I am, I immediately wondered if any of the workers were in on the whole thing. I have been waiting to hear more about where they are now or why they weren’t on Larry King defending themselves. Acorn or the Democrats couldn’t stop them if they’ve been fired.
I’m going to be having Thanksgiving dinner with the family and I know this is going to come up.
If it were any kind of a setup or fakery, exposure would be a huge win for liberals and a huge blow against FOX. That’s such a tremendous and easily obtained prize that, if I were a liberal, it would be impossible for me to ignore. But no liberal has gone for it. Therefore it wasn’t a setup or fakery.
Of course, one alternative is that the media and Democrats are suppressing such proofs. But by doing so they make themselves and ACORN look bad, a ridiculous idea in every way. Of the many things I think they are, “masochistic” isn’t one of them.
A more plausible idea is that even worse stuff would turn up. That’s why they would quickly excise the visible tumor and move on.
As long as the scammers refuse to release the unedited tapes, we can’t draw any conclusions at all, execept the obvious one that no one could have seriously been fooled by those clowns.
