Have you acted in anything before?

I’ve been in three feature films, and several short films. I’ve did amateur acting classes in college too.

Here’s a few trailers for films I’ve had small roles in. I play a student, a Nazi, and a zombie in these films.

I don't know how to get cast in anything when it comes to larger roles, though. I've only found jobs for extras. It seems like a chore finding anbody that will give you that big break you may be seeking. :(

I was an extra in Wag the Dog. Didn’t make it into the movie, but I randomly got paid the SAG rate.

Sounds cool. I was an extra in a web series called Judas Goat, sitting in a bar. I once paid £70 or so to be an extra in something else, and all I got was a split second appearance in a tunnel with my sister, because I hardly ever go to film shoots on my own. Well, mostly my legs were seen. :stuck_out_tongue:

I got five days work on the DC Universe series Swamp Thing, two days work on the as yet unreleased Netflix series Outer Banks, and a lot of work, maybe 15 days total work on the Hulu series Reprisal. Reprisal’s 10 episode season is due to drop on December 6 of this year.

All as an extra, but in different roles in most of them, except for Reprisal, where I was pretty much typecast as a member of the Banished Brawlers gang, although I preferred to think of us as a club.

A local film called “The Stitcher”…got a blurb in Fangoria so that was cool.

Several plays.

In my hometown, I played a zombie in a film called Dead Moon Rising. Our zombies’ peculiar weakness was that they were terrified to cross over water of any depth.

Cynical joke answer: every waking moment.

Real answer: i was a professional extra for several years in the early part of the century. The one thing I can think of that you can easily see me in was Starsky and Hutch movie. I’m right behind the police chief when he accidentally gets shot at the car auction scene.

Edit: oh yeah, I was also on Blind Date.

I played the lead role in my high school senior play.

And 46 years later, I still blush with embarrassment when I think of it, because I was a terrible actor.

I’ve been in several indie films, a TV pilot, couple of commercials, and many plays.

I’ve acted in many student plays, but nothing that was ever filmed.

I did appear in the History Channel series Clash of the Gods, in the “Medusa” episode. But that wasn’t acting.

Did you at least get to meet the dog?

I was a hand puppet operator in Planet of the Killer Robots 1999.

Does that count?

Oh, and I did local radio car ads as a six-year old on KOY, Phoenix AZ, circa 1963.

I’ve never done anything on screen, but I was in four school plays in middle school, and two in high school. Two of those were the lead role.

Does acting out qualify?

A couple of musicals at the all-girls’ high school. The needed boys for male roles and recruited from the Catholic boys’ schools in the area. It was fun.

No, only acting in. Like acting inappropriately.

High school and college plays, and a couple of community theater productions in my 20s.

I had possibly the least charisma of anyone who ever trod the boards, but I showed up on time and not drunk or high, which made me a hot property.

I’ve been the sidekick on a nationally televised reality show and hopefully I’ll start filming a new pilot here in a couple of months.

Did some acting in high school and college, but nothing once I graduated.

I’ve acted in school (starting as a monkey in our kindergarten’s Caps for Sale) and in church shows and summer camp. Nothing since high school, though.

I acted on stage in community theatre productions throughout my 20s, and thought I could transition that onto on-camera stuff, but the first couple of times I did that I realised just how awful I was, and never had those aspirations again. The most I’ve done since is a background extra on short films.

So… no, I haven’t.
