Me neither. Until just now.
What the screaming hairy jesus? How is that possible? Am I an alien?
Actually, that would explain a LOT.

Oh, yeah, I think I have. When I was younger, I could, by closing my nose & pushing hard, exhale out around one eye, but that seems to have mostly closed up.
I have. Feels weird.
Did you know that the formal name for your tear ducts are the nasolacrimal ducts?
Now you do.
Yep. Happens to me every time I blow my nose. Have been to both an ENT and a ophthalmologist and neither could find the problem
IANAD but there apparently is some concern that this may represent a problem you should get it checked out.
When my sinuses are clear, I can blow air out of my left eye. It was kinda fun in the pool as a kid, but I can’t do it near as much now.
The nose and eyes are connected. I’ve seen people on TV put milk in their nose and then squirt them out their tearducts. I’ve never done it, but it’s possible for everyone with some practice apparently.
Raise your hand if ew.
Where do you think “eye boogers” come from?
This has happened to me while trying to stifle a huge sneeze. A very odd sensation.
Your tear ducts drain into your nose. It’s not that hard to believe that you could blow hard enough to make that go backwards. But you really aren’t supposed to blow your nose that hard. Nor need to. That’s probably why D18’s doctor’s were concerned.
When I was a kid, it happened all the time when I did the Valsalva Maneuver. Still can if I push hard enough, but I’m not going to voluntarily give myself a headache.
I had a period of a couple months where I could do this as a teen, but never since. I think this calls for a poll.
Useless trivia:
Moving in the other direction: when dye is put on the cornea and drains into the nasolacrimal duct and then runs out the nose, it is called a positive Jones test.
This is also why some people get a bad taste in their mouth after having drops put in their eyes, especially medicinal ones. It’s not a side effect, it’s the drops going into your mouth.
I take Betimol to treat glaucoma, and was specifically instructed to press a finger against the tear duct after instilling them to prevent the medication from dripping down my throat.
Happens to me. Good reason to lift your glasses out of the way when blowing the nose. If you already thought this was disgusting, try driving through it.
Happens to me whenever I’m super-congested (allergy season, bad cold, etc.). It does feel freaky…I’m always worried snot is going to explode from my tear duct.
It happens to me, too. It seemed to start after a bad cold, and has never really cleared up.
