Tim Curry . That man could talk me into ANYTHING .
The band Hungry Lucy contacted me a little while back to join their friends list on Myspace.com and from the first listen I was enchanted by this woman’s voice. I recommend checking out some of the free mp3’s (especially “Shine (F9 mix)”).
Jeff Buckley. My God, that boy could sing–he had an incredibly beautiful voice.
Oh, and also Sting.
The guy who used to say, “Hill street blues will be right back …” oh my. I have no idea who that even was.
My husband has a very, very nice voice. Hmmm…
Josh Groban, definitely. I can’t understand half of the songs he sings, but I just love listening to him.
Sean Connery.
Christina Amphlett of the Divinyls. Something about that voice makes me think deeply of her throat…
And a second vote for Kate Bush. I wish I could imitate Tony Blair’s accent and diction. To my Uhmurican ears, it sounds so precise, with no energy wasted on unneccesary vowels or words.
Vlad/Igor
and then I saw them, and THAT was a bonus.
Ms. Jodi Benson
Showing a bit of my grey hair: Olivia Newton-John.
Sarah Vowell, contributor to This American Life, voice of The Incredibles’ Violet Parr, author.
Mmm.
It’s been a while – but I think that was Taurean Blacque, who played Neal Washington.
My nominees: Brazilian musician Caetano Veloso; my friend D. Yum. And yum.
Sung: Neko Case. (I see I have some competition.)
Spoken: Allison Aubrey on NPR, and Michele Myers, a DJ on KEXP.
Patrick Stewart. And another vote for Tim Curry.
…antici pation…

Sir Rhosis
Orson Wells. No, seriously. Close you eyes and listen to his voice. Day-um. Number two is James Earl Jones.
Darth Vader: Come over to the Dark Side.
Me: Be there in a second!
SAY IT !!
Thank you !
I fell in love with the voice of Anneke van Giersbergen of The Gathering.
Every single female bank teller I ever met in Rio.
