lol…really it was surreal.
Thad Beaumont, is that you?
You have to go back in time before you were born.
No, I say if he wants to accept full responsibility, we let him do so. It takes the weight of all those deaths off the rest of us. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Panama, Grenada, Nicaragua, El Salvador: all jtur88’s fault now.
Eleven cold-blooded murders? Eleven???
Eleven anonymous cold-blooded murders right here in our very own SDMB!!!
Every DA in the country probably has several unsolved murders in his jurisdiction, and some DAs have stacks of them.
Here come the subpoenas!!!
I may chose to die for you.
I won’t die because of you.
The sanctity of life isn’t.
Bout covers it for me.
When i was about ten and had learned my Dad had fought in a war I thought it was a straightforward thing to ask him from the back seat of the car “Dad? Have you ever killed anybody?”
“Of course” he replied. But he understandably didn’t want to go into details so we spoke no more about it.
Only now am I considering the albeit remote possibility that he might not have been referring to his army days.
There should be a Chuck Colson joke here, but I can’t quite come up with it.
If you think I’m answering that question, you are a fool OP.
I strongly suspect that Lee Harvey Oswald saved the world from a nuclear holocaust. I don’t know if I could have done that or not.
jtur88, since you are responsible for a couple of hundred thousand deaths each and every day, perhaps you might consider doing a better job at not killing so many people.
You know I love you bro, but doesn’t this type of response sorta answer the question in a fashion? It doesn’t bother me one way or the other, but I guess I just don’t understand the logic behind your post.
I suppose that depends on how you view the response doesn’t it? Evil will see evil, good will see good neh? Sometimes it’s just fun to participate.
