I have investigated many motor vehicle accidents. Given the information available it seems unlikely that anyone would be killed. Of course I can’t guarantee that. It’s possible to die tripping over a crub and hitting your head.
Seriously?
Me too! I hope it’s the same guy.
You must lead a miserable life.
As for me I have laid waste to a thousand galaxies for a total of approximate 800 quintillion sapient beings. Just kidding, the closest I came was when I almost hit an attendant using bumper cars.
Wishing someone dead might seem like a waste of energy, but it’s one of the few activities you can do that eventually has a 100% success rate.
I have removed plenty of people from life support, but they were already brain dead. Supposedly. Most of them. I think.
“I hurt somebody’s feelings once.”
Not that I know of…
That only holds if you didn’t do what you could to stop it. And even that only holds if there was not something more important that prevented you from stopping them.
And, even then, you’re nowhere near 100% responsible. Do the math, and I doubt you’ve killed even one whole person.
I damn near hit a cop when I was driving to work once. I was doing at least 50.
When my father was dying, I was with him during his final night and really considered that option. We were giving morphine IV, and it occurred to me that it could speed things up a little. There were enough other issues, though so I didn’t.
Yes, just to see him die.
No need to worry; your body produces sperm constantly, regardless of whether you ejaculate or not; if not, they just die inside your body and get replaced by new sperm. Sperm are also much smaller and simpler than egg cells (it’s even possible to fertilize egg cells without sperm), so it is really egg cells that matter, although I don’t think even the most strict anti-abortionists call an unfertilized egg a person.
I’m fully on board with a woman’s right to choose, but from a practical perspective I cooperated moral support-wise, transportation-wise, and financially with supporting and funding two abortions, so yes I’m morally culpable in the killing of two human beings.
I fought for one baby she intended to abort awhile we were married and she is my daughter today, I did not press the issue on the other two. People that might be alive today if I had fought for their lives, but I did not.
I voted “Yes, Other” because I removed my mom’s oxygen mask when it was time to let her go. She died about 30 minutes later.
No.
I don’t think I’d deal with it very well if I did.
Do you take requests?
Came close once, years ago when an ex-bf hit me, hard, for no reason.
The next thing I remember I was kneeling/bouncing on his chest holding a pillow over his face. He was turning blue and choking.
Scared the crap out of me that I could snap like that and not even know what I was doing.
There’s no “maybe”…
I did CPR on a knife victim…or attempted…I stopped after a few pumps realizing all I was doing was pushing more blood “out” instead of keeping heart circulating.
A “Real RN” trained for that was there, was too drunk to care, nor were all the rest of the patrons particularly concerned…more interested in their beers and cocktails.
The DJ was on break at the time and was the one that jumped in his car to get the license plate on the purp.
I dunno if the guy survived, I left when the Paramedics came, and never went back.
Jeez, where were you, Mos Eisley Cantina?
