Quite possibly. As would the idea of claiming blackmail as an income tax deduction.

My Paypal account was once hacked by someone who used it for a few transactions. By the time I regained control of the account, I’d turned a net profit of $2.85.

I don’t really understand it, but I guess SOMEONE used my Paypal account for something shady.
