Have you ever visited a Trump property?

The state of Nevada knew better than to give Loser Donald a gaming license.

I’m going to hazard a guess that Donnie Jr. & Co. are going to charge for visits to the gravesite. And hawk merchandise as well.

I’d pay $10 to pee on the grave.

The Trumps have a gaming license though I don’t know the status currently.
As I said up thread, it’s about 700+ private owned condos with Hilton Grand Vacations buying a block of 400 as overflow from their Las Vegas property. Initially all the condos were reserved but only 21% were actually sold at opening in 2008. 2008 was a bad year for financing!!!

Yes, right before The Orange One’s election. My friends and I (who are all staunch Democrats) visited the former Old Post Office Pavillion. The Secret Service agents admitted us; I suppose they thought that three middle-aged women were harmless. It was just as we expected, i.e., very tacky and vastly overpriced.

I visited the one in Chicago once, when my cousins from Australia visited (to run the Chicago marathon.) This was before he was president and before, I believe, the big gaudy letters were added to the front of the property.

I do have to admit that, as annoyed as I was that one of his properties was being built here in Chicago in the mid-late 2000s, that it turned out to be a reasonable piece of architecture. It doesn’t look too bad on the skyline, but, man, the big “TRUMP” letters splayed across the front annoy the hell out of me. Every day when I drive one of my kids to school north on Wabash towards the Loop, there’s a corridor of tall buildings that lead straight to the TRUMP emblazoned Internaltional Hotel and Tower.

Furthermore, as a photographer, when I’m downtown, most of my clients don’t want the distracting letters of his name in the background of their photos, so I have to be careful with my angles or sufficiently blur the background. It’s too bad, as, like I said, it’s not a bad looking exterior.

Inside, I don’t remember much of it. The suite my cousin had was actually pretty nice. The only thing I remember of my experience is when we went out to bring in a couple sixers of beer (in a plastic bag), the front desk refused to let us in like that, but hinted strongly that as long as we hide them in a backpack or something, we could get in. Maybe that’s normal among higher-end hotels, I don’t know.

Due to illness I was “forced” to fly on the Trump Shuttle from Boston to LaGuardia back in 1989.
