Have you notice how much evil there is on this board?

I wonder how many other dopes besides myself are so boring they just use their real name? Mine is just my first name and last initial, although a lot of people tend to read it as nori-new insted of norine w. which is what it is!

Ahem.

Yes! I’m not the only one who thought “Sofa King…what?”
I think my evil is implied…

Not to mention SisterCoyote.

Yes.

:devilhorns:

I shouldn’t admit it, but I didn’t get Satisfying Andy Licious until NOW. Geez! I just thought of him as a tasty guy named Andy!

I always thought I should be in the produce category, though Ellen is My Actual Name and Ellen Cherry is a character in a couple Tom Robbins novels.

I didn’t say I was the only one; I said I wonder how many there are? Sometimes something that seems like a users’ actual name to me might be the name of a favorite fictional character or some such, and I just can’t tell. However, I did get “Satisfying Andy Licious” right away, and “Sue Dunhym” pretty quickly, so I’m not feeling too dense right now. But I didn’t get that I Love Me, Vol. I was a palindrome until this thread, so I don’t get bonus points.

Kris is my actual name.
Had I been a boy I would have been Christopher.
For part of my senior year in school I went by the name of Kristofer … most peopple pronounced it Krist-OFFER or Krisfer…

Ack! You’re making it worse! What you actually said was that you wondered how many people were so boring as to use their own name.

norinew, I’m so boring that I couldn’t even muster up my whole name, I just use my initials.

I have considered changing my username (largely because tlw can’t be ego-searched, I’m soooooo bad) and I’ve considered something that relates to my favorite band, but it won’t be anything to do with Rush!

Where the truely evil shop

Yikes! I was being dense, wasn’t I? I don’t think dantheman is boring, because it is descriptive. I don’t even have anything descriptive in my name; it’s just my name. Now that’s boring! I mean, when I was a little kid, my dad called me “Jelly Bean”. That wouldn’t have been boring. But just my first name and last initial? ::wince::

Aw, I was just poking fun atcha.

[sub]should I mention to her I used to read her name as “norine? ewwww”? nah…[/sub]

Well, I got Satisfying Andy Licious’s name, right off the bat, but it does still conjure up images of another sort, entirely, which I’d rather not have. And, umm…sorry, norinew, I thought it was nori-new, up until now.

There are a number of bears, here, and some are gay. I’m not one of them. My nickname pre-dates common public knowledge of the use of “bear” as gay code. Actually, that’s kind of a sore spot, with me, as I’ve had an affinity for bears (the real ones) since I was a kid, and had to seriously consider adopting a different username for a while, because of all the interest I was generating among the gay community, just by using the name. (Not on this board. I’ve had absolutely no problems with the gay folk, here.)

But, to get back to the OP, true evil does not so readily show itself. True evil lurks, poised to strike. It does not walk up to its victims, shake them by the hand, and say “Welcome to the neighborhood.”

Hmm, I always thought it was “Man, get out!” all crunched together.

Grammar Nazis. Now they’re evil.

But I am. I am.

Is there anyone around to debauch? I enjoy sipping of their innocence just a bit at a time, as one should enjoy a fine wine.

I KNEW there were more of us out there!

Sorry, ARose!

Wow. I thought it was an obvious palindrome! No wonder folks in the GD and BBQ threads thought I was just full of myself! Truth is, I’m not so narcissistic-- I just love palindromes!
