Whose user name do you envy?

There are lots of great names on the board, but two spring to mind when I ask myself this question.

One is Chronos. It just has a terrific sound to it and it’s probably meaningful to him, as well. It wouldn’t apply to me at all but I just like it.

The other is The Devil’s Grandmother. I love the image I get with this! Wish I’d thought of it first.

There are lots of others that I like, but those are a couple of favorites off the top of my head. Which names do you wish yours was as cool as?
(Hey, I’m Southern. I can make up convoluted sentences that end with prepositions if I want to! Look, I did it again!)

I’m going to have to go with Shirley Ujest. Play on words, humorous and witty at the same time.

I always really liked Diogenes the Cynic.

I also like Filthy Beast of Meat and Hair.

The one I really wish I’d thought of first is Watcher of the Skies, which comes from the John Keats’ poem “On First Looking into Chapman’s Homer”.

Then felt I like some watcher of the skies,
When a new planet swims into his ken;
Or like stout Cortez, when with eagle eyes
He stared at the Pacific, - and all his men
Looked at each other with a wild surmise, -
Silent, upon a peak in Darien…
Yes, it was Balboa, not Cortez.

I’m also envious of the names Flamsterette_X and Bosda Di’Tri of Chicor.

Deep Fried is the coolest. I just wish I could spell it like they do.

Another vote for Shirley Ujest - and Rue de Day. Of course, I’d love to see a post by Shirley followed by someone with the username “Don’t Call Me Shirley”.

I also like Czarcasm - boy I’m good at bandwagon jumping, aren’t I?

CrazyCatLady just brings up great images - Lobsang because I am a Pratchett fan.

There are plenty of usernames that I’m sure are a giant whoosh to me.

I’ve always liked Czarcasm.

Though I wouldn’t want it for myself, look!ninjas is a pretty cool name; it parses in my mind exactly as I would expect a badly-dubbed Japanese samurai to say it.

Bambi Hassenpfeffer. The fact that the Doper in question is a guy makes it all the more delightful.

I also envy all the Narnia names - I wish I’d thought of Jadis before she did. There’s a couple other Narnia names running around, but I can’t think of them at the moment.

I also like Keeweenaw.

There’s a guest called New Yorklebees, which just tickles me for some reason.

I love the image that CandidGamera brings to mind… a giant flying turtle with the head of Allen Funt.
