To the well-meaning person who opened the door in the middle of class, potentially interrupting a lecture (she didn’t, but that was pure luck on her part) to ask if we had voted, fuck you. You do not go around randomly opening doors to ask people if they had voted when you know, because of the time, that there is probably a class actively going on. And I swear, if I hear “have you voted today?” one more time, blood will be shed. Either that, or I need a snappy comeback (or to hide in lab for the next several hours.)
Anyone else completely sick of this already? It’s not even past lunchtime yet!
I am. I’ve been asked at work this morning, there’s only four of us. I feel like on Election Day, I just want to vote quietly and not talk about it. I mean, I;m already speaking as loud as I can by voting, aren’t I?
Interrupting classes isn’t good, but no, I’m not sick of talking about voting. What can I say? Today’s a momentous day!
(And no, I haven’t voted yet; I am this evening because I have to be driven about 35 minutes away to my hometown to do it, since I’m not registered where I go to school.)
