Hawaii Five 0 Intro!!!!

Got a better one? Mission Impossible just about gets there, but Elizabeth Logue > Barbara Bain! Who didn’t want to @!@#@ @#@# %%%^ $%#% Logue back then? Hey now!

Sorry, but yours doesn’t have a mummy, hovercraft, personal jets, laser cannons or a spider robot.

My vote for best intro:

Sausage Fest! Elizabeth Logue I say!

In the slightly different intro for the pilot episode “Cocoon,” you actually get to see the hula dancer’s face, not just her swiveling hips. She actually has some screen time in the ep.

In the re-edited syndication two-parters for “Cocoon,” though, it’s the standard intro, and her dance routine has been completely edited out.

Wow, thank you for that! While I love the fast speed-in to the building roof with Jack Lord and the snappier musical production, I really like this pilot version with its volcano and fire spinner footage. I can also do without the multiple airplane shots.

That would be Helen Kuoha-Torco.

Not me. Takes me back. In the late 60s early 70s my pops worked for the goverment and we were always sitting around somewhere in an airport at 4 am, etc. Taking off in a 747 was pretty excellent back then.

Your nominee is sorely lacking in super-cool British spies.

And no psychedelic effects on Johnny Quest either!

For an, um, intriguing take on the Hawaii Five-O theme how about some Sammy Davis Jr?

Good grief I’d throw a bone to Rigg. Now even.

Whenever I hear Hawaii Five O I think of two things:

  1. The Mad parody, How-Are-Ya, Five-o

  2. This.

Baker gets extra points for the 'fro.

Good grief. What happened to Aykroyd? Hero to Zero.

That was @##%%@^ excellent!!!

‘Seal off the universe and patch me through to God.’

I can’t tell you how often that phrase comes to mind.

The plane is probably a 707, because the 747 hadn’t been invented yet in 1968, but your main point is correct - there is no better intro than that. Reza Badiyi is the man who put that together.

At least on Mission Impossible we got to see Barbaraevery week
But none of those shows had a cool flying motorcycle. and Oh how I wanted one.

good theme song. Enough cowbell for Chris Walken. No babes though
My Mother’s favorite
This classic has to make the top 5 at least

probably this too.

Hey the great sitcom themes need some love. Here’s two of my favorites:
Maude and
One Day At A Time

Best use of the theme
