Hayden Panettiere passed away this evening at age 36. No details as of yet.
I just saw this, shocking.
I’ll always associate her with “Save the cheerleader, save the world.”
Article from ABC getting updates.
Damn, that was 20 years ago already.
Well, there goes the world.
TMZ reports that police confirmed they were called to investigate something related to her earlier today.
RIP, Kirby.
She and Michelle Trachtenburg starred in a movie together and now both have died very close together and both, of course, very young.
There should be some kind of law against dying so young.
I remember her from Malcolm in the Middle with her huge mass of frizzy hair.
I found out this morning that she died in South Carolina, around 15 miles from me.
I recently did a full rewatch of MitM, remember the character, but never noticed that it was her. And I saw the movie where she spent a lot of time riding Frankie Muniz.
Sadly, it looks like it was an overdose.
Do you have a link? Overdose of what? Intentionally?
ETA: I only knew her as Vladimir Klitshko’s ex-partner, I didn’t even know they already split in 2018, and I have never seen her in films or on TV. Was surprised she was still that young.
Nothing official at this time, but it is being reported by some outlets as an apparent overdose. Autopsy to be done today.
Thanks for the link
. Tragic in any way, and I feel for the family. They also lost her brother at age 28. Damn.
TIL!
And she is wearing high heels!
Of course Mr. Klitschko is a very big man.
The whole NYT article (gift link) is very sad.
She was very open about substance addiction in the past
She was 19 and he was 33 when they first got together.
He is 6”6’, she was 5”0’.
She has a 12 year old child as well. I hope there are support people around them.
I’ll always associate her with “Save the cheerleader, save the world.”
I have no idea why that phrase stuck in my head.
I have no idea why that phrase stuck in my head
At the time, Heroes was shaping up to be a big LOST-like TV show and this was a major moment in the series. Shame is, nothing was planned and it went entirely off the rails in its second season.
Shame. Heroes looked like it would have been a great show.
I believe it had the quickest and steepest decline I’ve seen in a show.
Speaking of Lost, the phrase from that show that stuck in my head, “Live together, die alone.”
