Didn’t catch it last night, but I am still loving this show. I’m glad it got picked up for season 2.
It wasn’t great this week, but there was some good “Mel” stuff.

I’ve only seen a couple of episodes, but they were hilarious.
“No, our accents are totally different. They’re like ‘where’s the cahhh…’ and we’re like ‘where’s the cahhhh.’”
That catchy tune has stayed in my head for weeks now. It took me a while to see what they were doing - all the lyrics are phrases that you would see in a French 101 textbook.
Both the songs were great this week. Although my favorite so far is “Bret You Got It Goin’ On”
Sorry for the bump, but for anyone who is interested, season one will be released on DVD on November 6th and is available for only $19.99 at Amazon.
Hm…I may just get it. It’d be the first show I’d own on DVD, too.
So…when does the new season start? bounce bounce
I heard rumors that HBO picked up season 2, only to have FotC ultimately decline. Anyone know about this definitively either way? News reports don’t seem to be talking about it.
They were dismissive at first, saying they weren’t sure they’d want to do a second season because they used up years of material in the first one. They said that they’d probably have to take quite a bit of time to write before another season, and that it probably wouldn’t be twelve episodes.
Nothing definitive since then, though.
