Good thing, as I’d hate never finding out what happened to those people.
My guess is they would all go on unemployment until their agents got them more work.

Word is decent chance of a third season or more.
I’m confused because we saw Ianucci on Colbert, and my sister wanted to watch the trailer for the new season. In his interview Ianucci was talking about Laurie being able to do an American accent (and he can) but several clips in the trailer showed him speaking with a UK accent. ??? Then, a different clip showed him with an American accent. Which is he?
Lol, Laurie is 100% Brit but does a perfect American accent. Don’t believe me? Check out an episode of Jeeves and Wooster then follow up with an episode of House. The guy is REALLY good at accents, and I suspect Ianucci was taking the piss. Bigtime.
In the show, he is an American pretending to be a Brit. Or maybe the other way around. Anyway, that is one of the jokes.
O.k. thank you. I know he can do an American accent. I was just confused about what was going on in the show.
In the show, it is explained that Laurie’s character is British, but his employers felt the passengers preferred an American captain. So around the passengers he pretends to be American, but drops the accent when with the ship’s crew.
First couple were laugh out loud funny, then the joke got old. But Laurie was a trooper the whole way.

Well, last night’s episode was a perfect choice for Election Day Eve.
