Anyone else see this? I watched it last night, and I was floored at how good and how interesting it was. I knew a bit about the guy, but not all that!! What an amazing character and an amazing life. I highly recommend it.
I just saw this, and agree. One of the side stories that was left hanging was about the still-unsolved murder of Bradlee’s sister-in-law, Mary Pinchot Meyer. But, looking around a little, there wasn’t much to go on. There was a suspect (who would later turn out to be a really bad guy) who was tried and acquitted, and according to one thing I read subsequent research seems to bolster the case for acquittal. Still a mystery. (And, since the doc was about Bradlee, and not MPM, it wasn’t really relevant to the narrative.)
I haven’t seen the film, but I remember that Bradlee’s autobiography was a great read. I often recommend it to people looking for good biographies.
