HD Flat screen tv's, plasma vs LCD

My 47" Toshiba 47-HL167 1080p LCD has had about 3 or 4 scattered dead pixels since day one. You don’t see them unless you get 2 feet away and are just at the right angle. Although I guess if a bunch of dead pixels get grouped together that could spell trouble.
