Huh? Dead pixels are a notorious drawback of LCD panels. My friend sent his first LCD bigscreen back because of just this issue. Burn-in, fair enough, but dead pixels are an issue for both technologies.

My 47" Toshiba 47-HL167 1080p LCD has had about 3 or 4 scattered dead pixels since day one. You don’t see them unless you get 2 feet away and are just at the right angle. Although I guess if a bunch of dead pixels get grouped together that could spell trouble.
