He/she was in THAT?

Was following some Doctor Who related wiki pages and found that the guy who played Mickey (Noel Clarke) has a part in the upcoming Star Trek film. I look forward to looking for him.

Add Sian Phillips (Livia from “I, Claudius”)

Orson Welles in the 1980s narrated a track for the heavy metal group Manowar.

^I saw Clarke in a cheesy alien monster movie the other day, that takes place in a self-storage place.

Odette Annable (formerly Yustman) was one of the kids in Arnold’s class in Kindergarten Cop. When he asked them who is your daddy and what does he do, she’s the one who answers in spanish.

I just thought of another one… comedian Chris Elliot (“Late Night with David Letterman”, Get a Life", “Everybody Loves Raymond”) had a completely serious and uncomedic role in James Cameron’s “The Abyss”.

If I remember correctly, he played a radio operator on one of the military battleships. It was a small role, but he did appear in several scenes, and spoke more than one line.

As soon as I saw him appear I expected that he was cast for comic relief, but he had no funny lines whatsoever. He was already somewhat well-known as a comedian at this point, so it wasn’t a “before they were famous” type of appearance.

A dead-serious Chris Elliot amazed me far more than any of the special effects in the film.

James Woods as a prissy teacher in Welcome Back Kotter.

Emmy Rossum (fiona in shameless) played an appalachian mountain girl who does an awesome rendition of “barbara allen” in “The songcatcher”

Alan Tudyk of firefly had a brief uncredited role in abe lincoln vampire slayer, he was also in a knights tale, which rufus sewell starred in both

Cowboy Curtis from “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” was played by “Larry” Fishburne. Also, I’ve been watching “Frasier” on Neflix. Too many to name (especially if you include the callers.)

John Gielgud, Peter O’Toole and Helen Mirren in Bob Guccione’s “Caligula”

Fred Astaire played Starbuck’s father in the original “Battlestar Galactica”. His grandchildren loved
the show.

She also has a small part in I Love You to Death.

Christopher Guest had a very tiny role in The Hot Rock.

Got a surprise some months back while watching the infamous joke of a movie, C.H.U.D.: in a quick throwaway scene, two cops walk into a diner, some C.H.U.D. action occurs, then they’re gone. The cops are played by John Goodman and Jay Thomas, who is probably most famous for playing Carla’s husband Eddie LeBec on Cheers.

Alicia Silverstone was in the Cryin’ Video by Aerosmith.

She was robbed by a very young Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost)

I was watching the Judgement at Nuremburg with Spencer Tracy and Burt Lancaster, and holy shit a very young ***William Shatner ***was the military bailiff.

Speaking of Clkiff Clavin -

John Ratzenberger can be seen in the river assault at Njimegen right behind Robert Redford. He doesn’t make it.

A very young Robert Sean Leonard played Mr. & Mrs. Bridge’s son Douglas in the Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward movie. A not-so-young Robert Sean Leonard was in Dead Poet’s Society with Robin Williams.

Speaking of Doctor Who, David Morrisey (the Governer in The Walking Dead) was in an episode of Doctor Who, playing a guy who thinks he’s the Doctor.

That’s him on the left.

And speaking of Robert Redford, he was in an episode of The Twilight Zone, playing Death. Christopher Lloyd was also, playing Santa Claus.

Oh, and Hugh Laurie was in an episode of Friends. You can find it on youtube.

I can’t find a Twilight Zone credit for Lloyd on his IMDB page. Are you sure you didn’t mean Art Carney?

I remember seeing Ted Knight in an episode of The Twilight Zone, but his name wasn’t in the credits.

He also got shot in Targets.
