This is a 2016 video from the rapper Scarface. He was one of the members of the pioneering rap trio Geto Boys and later had (and still has) a successful solo career.

Anyway, that’s not really the point of this thread. I want to ask the Dope who can spot the relevant link to today’s current events in this video from 4 years ago? I’m sure there are people here who already know the answer, feel free to be a buzz kill and get it in one ;). I had no idea about this “its a small world” connection until I was watching the video myself and noticed it and had to google it t(please don’t do that here) to make sure I was seeing what I thought i was seeing.

Looks like George Floyd. He was a minor hip hop artist, so I assume that’s why he’s in the video.

Correct. He was connected to several well-known big name artists in the years before his death. He even fancied himself a rapper too
