Why did she call him Romaine? Just cos.
Jokes aside for a second, how would you even get in there?
“He dug in like his name John Deere…”
Interesting user name / post combo
So… that closing theme from ** Frasier**, “Tossed salads and scrambled eggs”… That’s a sex thing?
Well, a later line is “Baby, I got you pegged” so, yeah…
Yes, I know the song predates the Savage Love contest, thanks.
I’m reminded of this.
You don’t even *want *to know what “scrambled eggs” are.
In case anyone does:
What cracked me up with that definition was the sentence beginning with “best results occur.” Well, actually, just the idea of “best results” for that activity, because “smaller and softer curds” are “best,” how, exactly?
I have heard that the Romans used a type of bread to make dildos, and I’m sure that cucumbers and other items have been popular through the ages. I have also heard that it’s not a joke about farmers having sex with their sheep/cows/etc. (largely out of boredom) and then those all become food later on.
Since most people were farmers, through history, and food products (including livestock) have a shorter life cycle than humans, I would say that it’s pretty likely that more food has had sex with humans than humans have had sex with humans, at least between roughly 3000 BC and 1800 AD.
How about if you throw in TV?
(Pastrami is the most sensual of the salty cured meats.)
/obligatory Seinfeld refs
Sounds like a way to get a yeast infection.
Nicki stole that line from 2 Live Crouton.
Was that when they were headed up by MC Ice Berg?
I have a female coworker who is named Romaine. When I went to add her on Facebook, I blanked on her last name but figured she wouldn’t be hard to find with a name like that.
It turned out there were quite a few Romaines, and all but her were black men.
Is it an allusion to Roman, the demon that sometimes possesses her?
There’s a long tradition behind it. In the not so distant past, of course, you have songs like Kitchen Man and Hot Nuts, but there must be plenty of old folksongs with assorted coded references to fruit and meat and the like.
Golf clap.
When someone describes a food as orgasmic, it always makes me cringe a bit. Just don’t like it.
