Head shavers: what do you use to wash your head?

After thinking about it for some time (and going bald for a longer time) I finaly took the plunge and shaved off all of my hair. Much to my surprise, it actually looks pretty good, so I’m going to try to stick with it.

My question is thus: with your head shaved, do you still wash with shampoo? Or is there another cleaing product that work well on bald scalps with minimal hair? For the record, I have combination skin, even on my head. A little oily, with occasional dry patches that tend to flake if I don’t moisturize.

Regular shaving will probably take care of the flaky stuff. I had very little hair on top but still had dandruff, for goodness’ sake. I just wash with whatever soap I am using to shower with, shave, and apply a little lotion.

I use Dove Moisturinzing Body Wash (Deep Moisture)
Ahem This is not my most manly moment. Be gentle

I use Nivea Shower Stuff for an all over body wash, including the head.

After shaving my head, I use Moisturizing Toner. Helps keep the rash down, if you’re prone to that.

Plain ol’ bar soap. I just lather it up and spread it over the noggin, shave, spread it over the rest of the bod, and rinse. Works pretty well.

So, Earthworm Jim, do you use a pink scrunchy sponge as well?

I use a teal scruchy shower poof and give it a squirt of “perfectly pear” herbal body wash. Twice a week I’ll use some Clinique foaming wash and exfoliant scrub.

During all of this I still feel the need to hawk up some phlegm and spit a chunk into the drain, I am a manly man after all…

Wash head with same soap used on rest of body. (Irish Spring)
Lather with Edge Gel, razor, towel off.
Apply Nivea Face Cream to scalp.
Face the world.
