Headlight question on 2008 Lexus ES350

While replacing my headlight on my 2008 Lexus ES350, the locking clip (big paperclip-like thing) popped off and something shot out of the headlight area. I cannot find anything on the web discussing how to fix this issue. What would it take to fix it and how expensive would it be for a repair shop to do it (assuming something broken or overly complicated)?

It’s just the metal spring, right? Looks like ebay sells them: https://www.ebay.com/itm/6x-Universal-Headlight-Retention-Clip-Spring-Bulbs-for-H1-H3-H4-H7-Lexus/153150090133 6 for 15 bucks or so, plus shipping.

Edit: I feel your pain. Replacing the headlight on a Prius can be a giant PITA. Thank God for Luscious Garage’s videos.

I have the clip but how do I reattach it?

Look carefully at the other side and you may be able to figure it out.
