Hubby and I have been watching BtVS in syndication on FX for the past few months (thanks, TiVo!). We’re in the final stages of season 7, and it seems as though FX is showing Buffy on a continuous loop. It airs M-F at 7:00 AM, and starts over next week. So, if you’re like me and love Buffy but don’t have the DVDs, set your VCR or TiVo and enjoy! We’ll probably start from the beginning again, just because we love it so much.
And for fellow Buffy fans, you should know that Joss Whedon is writing the official “Season 8” in a new series of Buffy comic books published by Dark Horse Comics. This isn’t like those hundreds of non-canon Star Trek and Star Wars (and even Buffy) novels and comic books; this is the real thing from the man himself.
Also, Amber Benson (Tara) will guest star on “Supernatural” (as a Vampire!)

My local Costco has all 7 seasons of Buffy and all 5 seasons of Angel for $24.99 each.
I loaned my Season One DVDs to a loser at work and haven’t seen them in over a year. I’ll record these reruns in the meantime. So thanks. 
I’m considering putting the 7-season Chosen One collection on my Christmas list this year.
I have to wake up every morning at eight in the morning to make sure I’m ready to be at my nine o’clock Chinese class on time. Every day. And I never get enough sleep, so I find ways to catch naps during the day.
And despite this, I still found myself debating whether I wanted to wake up the hour earlier, just to get a Buffy fix.
Then I remembered that I don’t have a TV in my dorm, and that made it the choice a lot simpler.
But you still have time to buy one!!

I keep hoping they will do something similar for *Angel *but it’s starting to look unlikely. I really hate the original fold-out packaging.
Region 2 (the UK and thereabouts) got a Chosen Collection-style Angel set a year or two ago, so don’t give up hope yet. I’m eagerly awaiting an announcement for something very similar, and they didn’t announce the Buffy Chosen Collection until Octoberish of last year (and it came out around Thanksgiving time).
Will it begin with Chucky from Child’s Play being killed by evil Cabbage Patch Kids?
I’m still patiently waiting for Alyson Hannigan to show up in Playboy.
