Heads up: Whose Line Is It Anyway? (original radio version) is being aired.

A few weeks back, Fern Forest mentioned that (s)he wanted to be able to listen to the original Whose Line Is It Anyway? radio series and I suggested that they check out BBC7.

Well, as is shown here, Whose Line? is now being aired by BBC7 on Mondays at 8:00am and 10:00pm (Note: That’s British time, adjust for your timezone).

If you live outside the UK, you can listen to the broadcasts via Windows Media or RealPlayer.

Woohoo! Well ain’t that a hoot and a half! Thank you very much with a cherry on top for the heads up Kal.

Now let’ see. It’s Sept 23 @ 12:30am for me now. And it’s Sep 23 @ 10:30am for them. Which means I’m 10 hours behind. So it plays at 8:30pm on the 29th so I can watch it 10:30am or noon. Hey, that’s not too bad. Ooh, I wish my pc was fast enough to record it.

Oh, and I’m a man. See the photo thread.

Your post just made me notice a mistake in my OP; I said the first airing had an 8:00am start time when it is actually 8:30am.

Superb. There’s so much good stuff - the Goons, Hancock’s Half Hour.

Thanks, Kal, for the heads up.

I just noticed they’re also rerunning “The Masterson Inheritance” on Tuesdays (too late for tonight, sorry). As the narrator says, it’s “an improvised historical saga of a family at war with itself. No script, no rehearsals, just an audience and a couple of microphones”. Many voices familiar from WLIIA are in it: Josie Lawrence, Paul Merton, Caroline Quentin.
