“Correctly” is the operative word here. It could be “oops, the wrong code was submitted” or “use this code to get this insurer to pay.” Dr office staff are unsung heroes who have to deal with dozens of insurers and each may have slightly different policies for standard procedures. Resubmitting the clain usually works!
