Hear that sigh of relief?

That gigantic sigh, followed by the whooping and cheering coming from the northeast? That was me, sorry for the disturbance. I am going back to work next week, following a 2+ month leave of absence. Unfortunately, the insurance company had decided that one month was sufficient time for me to go from suicidal to capable of working with the public 50 hours a week, so they stopped paying me in mid-may. After a zillion phone calls to and from the insurance company, supervisors at the insurance company, THEIR supervisors, my doctor, my psychiatrist, my therapist, and my company’s payroll and HR departments, I FINALLY can return to work, AND the insurance is going to pay me for all the weeks they owe me! I don’t have to beg for change on the corner!

I realize this truly is mundane and pointless to you all, but I needed to share with someone!

Congratulations!

I’m glad you are feeling better and I’m glad they paid ya! It sounds like making all those calls was a full time job!

Oh, *that *was the noise I kept hearing! Man, it kept startling my dog…

Many congratulations

Good to hear, Miss Squash.

Yeah, I thought that noise was going to be followed by some god-awful smell…
