When Kathy came to the desk the other day, I didin’t recognise her. I almost introduced my self to her, but was (fortunately) distracted for a moment. When I looked again, and realized who it was, I was shocked.
Linda said Kathy looks so ill because she either had a bad bypass or is on a severely restricted liquid diet. .
That annoying dope working at the client’s office? Don’t worry, he’s leaving soon.

So you noobs in my group want to know about the new VP of our division? Well, let me tell you: a few years back he had a thing with his admin, who was much younger than he. He really went ga-ga over her, and it was pretty obvious what was going on to casual observers. Anyway, his wife eventually found out and left his ass, taking a metric buttload of alimony, assets and child support. He moved in with the sweet young thaing (meanwhile she’s STILL working as his admin assistant) and within 3 months she dumps his ass.
A couple years after all this went down someone in one of my old groups found his profile on match.com. It was absolutely hilarious.
Whew. Glad I got that out safely.
Phill’s office gossip is really far more entertaining than mine.
Apparently Ed P. is getting fired for being a waste of space and always overstepping his authority. The board demanded it. They’re also dumping Linda and the woman who works on mailings, for the “waste of space” reason. None of them know yet.
Rick is apparently an idiot, but cute (though I can’t really see it personally - I saw him one day when I stopped by for lunch). However, he’s quite the ladies man. He’s currently balancing both the office couger (who is also seeing another guy in the office), and the CEO’s administrative assistent (a.k.a. “Paris”). Said AA must have been left hanging after the previous CEO (the one who gave her diamond earrings for Christmas last year) got fired.
1.That nurse on post-op 2, you know the one that has long black hair? She got fired for messing with the PCA pump and gave the patient 10x as much morphine as he was supposed to get. The patient is going to be ok, though.
Co-worker A confided in me that she slept with co-worker B. Not unsuprising, as she has slept with a few of our co-workers. However she also admitted that they hadn’t used a condom. Co-worker B has previously confided to me that he sleeps with prostitutes.

You know Lisa, the Customer Service Rep that got promoted to Customer Service Manager even though she has no college or managerial training? Word is the only reason she got the promotion is because she is blackmailing Rod, the GM, with a little stalking incident that happened a few months back. Seems he got drunk and followed her to her apartment after an office get together outside of work. There was a bit of a confrontation and he wants to keep it on the down low.
