This is a heartbreaking story of anIrish setter who tried to follow her teenaged runaway owner and jumped off a highway overpass. Her family couldn’t afford the vet bills and wanted her euthanized. Now she’s looking for a home.

Poor girl! Wish I could give her a forever home but that isn’t a possibility.
Hey… you have an English Setter… how 'bout a semi-matched set?
PapSett - I don’t need another dog! (Although one so faithful and true…) And she’s in VA and they only adopt to locals. Miss Daisy is doing well, gaining weight like a champ. The vet comes back out for a followup visit in two weeks.
I took 5 dogs to the vet last Saturday. It turns out three of them have Erlichiosis, a tick-borne illness that an attack your immune system. THey’re on 4-6 weeks of antibiotics.

I’ve been meaning to ask about Daisy… so glad she’s doing well! What’s her disposition like?
I saw your thread about the Erlichiosis… ticks freak me right out. HATE 'EM.
I hope this sweet little Irish girl gets a wonderful home!
Poor baby! I don’t need another dog either, unfortunately, so thank god she’s in Virgina or I’d have to adopt her.
I forwarded it to the local CBS affiliate WTVR, in the hopes it might gain a little attention.
Never hurts to try.
