Well there’s a blessing.
Yeah, this isn’t rocket science. In the primaries: vote for your favorite. If your favorite has dropped out before your state’s primary - vote for your 2nd choice.
In the general, vote for the Democrat. (If Trump is not on the ballot I’ll be giggling so much that I don’t care who you vote for, even a rational Republican, if there is such a thing anymore.)
Done.
There’s another blessing, although she’s passing up a prime opportunity to troll the right for a while. I mean, at the very least she should have phoned up Fox & Friends and strung them along on air, just because Trump would have been watching.
Agreed. We’ll have an embarrassment of riches in the Dem primaries and caucuses, and can afford to be a bit choosy. And I can’t think of a single Dem now running, or even mentioned as considering a run, who wouldn’t be an improvement over the incumbent.
Maybe there is a God…
Biden stepped on the 3rd rail , in the past he said Roe vs. Wade went too far.
I’m not saying this is bad for him , but he would actually be better off now releasing pictures that show him wearing blackface.
Wow,** 1974** eh?
Yep, the attack articles are out in force. Bidne is the #1 in polls, so crap is surfacing. Ya think that in the past 45 years he might have changed his opinion a little?
I wonder who the Huff supports?
Bloomberg’s not getting in.
Surprise, surprise. The primary debate stage might actually end up with fewer than 20 candidates.
Now if we can get rid of Coffee Douche and WhatshernameFromHawaii, it’ll be a helluva day!
Maybe this is the late-afternoon caffeine comedown talking, but this makes a lot of sense to me. When Biden said this, the ink was barely dry on the SCOTUS decision. Does anybody have anything more recent – like from THIS century?
Cosigned with enthusiasm.
Yeah, that’s just stupid. We shouldn’t be playing “gotcha” with quotes from 45 years ago.
Just like, if a Communist Party membership card with Bernie Sanders’ name on it from the 1980s were to surface, I wouldn’t expect anyone to take that seriously.
Neither would I- but they will. I doubt if bernie was a member (but attending a rally or something maybe) but my point was the the GOP and the Kremlin never unleashed their hate fake news against him.
Like they are starting with Biden.
I hope the wink means you are joking.
I agree with this, as long as “your favorite” is not the same thing as “the candidate who most closely supports your ideology up and down the line”. I’m looking for the most electable candidate who meets certain minimum ideological requirements. That said, of course I’ll vote for any Democrat in the general, but I don’t want to risk that others might not do the same for certain values of loony lefty.
You’ve rather suspiciously underplayed it. From the article:
So maybe he did change his mind in the past 45 years but it wasn’t in the first 20.
That “us” does seem to identify him with those who “are opposed to abortion”, doesn’t it?
Opposition to abortion has nothing to do with a woman’s right to choose. You can hate abortion as a horrible and immoral choice personally, but support Roe vs Wade and each woman’s right to a choice.
Well, when your opposition includes voting to block federal funding then some poorer women’s right to choose might be affected.
Regardless, you’re tap dancing here unless you have a quote of Biden making the same distinction you are.
