It’s totally understandable being a little weirded out by extremists. I know my jaw always drops to the floor when someone says they don’t believe in evolution I was just offended by you taking it out on your wife.
As for how can it be holy everything thinks their interpretation is right and everyone else has gotten wrong. Just like any system capitalism, communism, what have you. Just that this has to do with ghosts and goblins not dollars and cents. However Great Debates are littered with religious debates I’m sure you can do a search on some of them and find a more exhastive discussion on the topic.

On the surface, they are trying to save souls, but a deeper, unadmitted motive just might be that the actors, and most of the patrons of Hellhouse, desire to be a part of halloween. Many are already of the belief system, or under household belief systems, that Halloween is evil and should not be celebrated, but truly miss the fun.
