From today’s (Canadian) newspaper: Hollywood stars Bill Murray, Lara Flynn Boyle, Catherine O’Hara and her boyfriend Jack Nicholson all just visited the Calgary Stampede. They loved it and loved the rodeo. they “strolled the midway freely, playing games, taking rides, and popping corn dogs” and “nobody gave them a hard time”. Can movie stars go out on the streets in the USA without driving the natives into a clutching grabbing frenzy?

I love Canada. Just got back from spending a week there. And I’ll be going back as often as I can. The people are warm and friendly, and the country is just beautiful.
