Eh, on the other hand, it’s recent enough that people would reasonably think it’s going to continue the previous Hellboy story. But this is starting over from the top so “reboot” seems appropriate. We’re not talking about someone putting a new spin on a Jane Austen story here, this is a pretty narrow franchise given a cinema treatment fairly recently.
Rule of thumb: if they show tge origin story again, it’s a reboot.
They should get Christian Kane to play Wolverine. Check out his stuff on Leverage; he practically IS playing Wolverine, minus the claws.
