I am Futurist110 and I created an account on this forum a couple of days ago. Anyway, I myself am a 23-year-old Israeli-American university student (I currently go to UCI). Also, I enjoy things such as history (especially post-1800 history), demographics, and food (many kinds), hot pics, et cetera. I myself have a male-body, but I identify as genderqueer; if you are curious as to what exactly I mean by “genderqueer,” well:
I myself prefer using male pronouns over using female pronouns. Indeed, I myself have no problem being referred to as a boy or as a guy (or as a eunuch after my planned surgical castration, for that matter). However, I also want to get surgically castrated (but to keep my penis, obviously) and to have a much more feminine appearance, specifically by permanently getting rid of as much of my body hair and facial hair as possible and by feminizing my face to some extent (hopefully with the help of estrogen hormone replacement therapy). Plus, I also want to sometimes wear female clothing such as dresses, skirts, et cetera. Finally, I would like to point out that I myself sometimes/often cross-dream and imagine myself as a trans-woman, though I myself have no intention of transitioning to that extent.
Anyway, it’s great to be on this forum! Also, if anyone here has any questions for me, then please feel free to ask me!
I don’t know what you mean by “but to keep my penis, obviously.” What is obvious about such a thing? I am sure you have your reasons, but they are not obvious, at least not to me.
Have you begun HRT? Regardless, if you have no intention of undergoing gender reassignment surgery, why not try on some women’s clothing to see if you like it?
How long have you felt “different”? Are you sexually attracted to women or men?
I want to be able to have penis-in-vagina sex after my planned surgical castration.
No, not yet.
Actually, I already did that years ago and got very sexually aroused by doing this. Also, I have tried using my shirts to simulate long hair after I got shaved and certainly enjoyed my appearance.
In some form? Since age 9 or 10.
Overwhelmingly to women, but I do have an occasional soft spot (OK, maybe hard spot, if you know what I mean ;)) for an extremely small number of men.
Welcome to the forum! Since you joined, I’m sure you already know we have varied conversations and debates here. So jump on in!
I would like to ask a few things, as I am your typical 44 yo American male: fat, lazy, buzzed but social.
From your description, are you first transgender but prefer male pronouns/descriptions and how do others feel about you liking male identifications? I have often struggled with even referring to Caitlin as “he”, because I grew up with Bruce Jenner. I’m asking because I find it hard to understand what simple courtesies are appropriate.
And for the record, I will know you as Futurist110, an individual, not a generic member of a group.
Frankly, I don’t really identify as transgender. Rather, I prefer the term genderqueer to describe myself.
I doubt that they care about this, but then again, I myself haven’t actually began physically transitioning yet and am still closeted with the exception of a couple of people.
If you are unsure which pronouns one prefers, then please ask this person. As for me, I myself generally prefer male pronouns; thus, please use those pronouns when you are talking to me (unless I will tell you otherwise, that is).
Welcome. You may be a very interesting addition to the SDMB as we sometimes call it. One small thing; slow down the emoticons/smilies a little. Like all caps and constantly shifting colors, when a discussion gets more serious and more interesting than a simple introduction they can get a little distracting.
Yes, of course it is possible; after all, some trans-women who don’t have their testicles but who still have their penises are still able to get erections using their penises as well as to still have penis-in-vagina sex.
As I understand it, a surgical option used sometimes after some accidents and in some cases of erectile dysfunction. Even if you cannot attain an erection physically, they insert a system of tubes and pumps in the penis that, for all rights and purposes, can create an erection. In a manner of speaking, it makes your penis inflatable.
And from there I’m betting a certain level of jokes may commence.
I think dreams are interesting. You dream of being something you are not, and don’t intend to become.
For many years (though not so much lately) I would dream of being an American Plains Indian, especially if I had just smoked some weed. Mostly imagery of running through grasses or maybe trees, or maybe hunting a deer. The stone-age lifestyle was part of the background, probably before the white man but not sure, natural tools and remedies for nearly every problem.
Well, I am not an Indian at all. I don’t know exactly where this comes from. I do actually run on grassy trails, but I don’t think about Indians at those times…
Anyway, what is it about your dream persona? Just what itch are you scratching there?
