Hello Kevin Bacon!
According to The Oracle of Bacon, my Bacon Number is 3, if it’s permissible to include TV shows:
[ul][li]I recently worked as an extra on the reboot of Dallas in a scene with Patrick Duffy.[/li][li]Duffy worked in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story with Frankie Muniz.[/li][li]Frankie Muniz was in My Dog Skip with Kevin Bacon.[/ul][/li]
Congratulations. Do they have a similar site for Erdos numbers?

Attention everyone.

Kevin Bacon.
That is all.

We’re shootin’ for a thousand posts before rattling his cage, DMark?

Thanks

Quasi

Woohoo! According to the Oracle of Bacon, I have a Bacon Number of 2. I’m an extra in the upcoming Avengers movie, in which Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner; he and Bacon appeared together in the (not very good) 2003 thriller In the Cut.

That is totally awesome, EH!!!

See, you guys? I always ask if we have any celebrities among our number, and here’s a 2nd degree Bacon belt!!!

This thread rocks my world!

Q

Kevin Bacon has never been in my kitchen.

Seriously disappointed reading the above thread, and it can’t be removed, can it, Ellen?

So does anyone really think Kevin’s going to say hello now?

I am so sorry, DMark!!!

Bill

Nor mine.

This is fun: Erdős–Bacon number - Wikipedia

Do photographs count? If so, I have a Bacon number of 3.

According to that site, Captain Kangaroo has a Bacon Number of 2 (Captain Kangaroo was in The Stupids w/ Mark Metcalf who was in Animal House w/ Kevin Bacon).
If I understand it correctly, that would make me a 3 since I was on a Telethon set with Captain Kangaroo (hit him square in the head with a ping pong ball).

One of my former students is now an actress. She had a bit part (with lines!) in an episode of Castle this season. Her character speaks to Nathan Fillion’s character. Nathan Fillion was in SUPER with Kevin Bacon. That would give me a Bacon Number of 3.

My current theory is that Kevin Bacon is already a Doper. How could he NOT be?

Loved him in Friday the 13th. Arrow through the neck, from under the bed!

+1

Kevin and Kyra have been getting some beach time recently: Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon Hit The Beach; Couple Spends New Year's Eve In Hawaii (PHOTOS) | HuffPost Entertainment

I was in a music video with John Mellencamp.

John Mellencamp was in After Image with Michael Zelniker

Michael Zelniker was in Queens Logic with Kevin Bacon.

(I can’t believe John Mellencamp played the lead role in a movie. I am going to have to watch that.)

Wait, life outside films counts? I was on TV with a high-profile game show host, who also hosted the Bacon Brothers on his daytime show. 2!

But I sorta think it should be films, based on the original game.

I have a Bacon number of 4, but in two different ways.

My Mom’s cousin worked with Tim Burton, who worked with Kyra Sedgwick and you know the rest.

My Brother worked with Ang Lee - Heath Ledger - Oliver Platt - Kevin Bacon

Just wanted to note that this thread IS showing up in the Google Alert I set for “Kevin Bacon”. So, if he set his search parameters for “everything” and is diligently looking over the results, he WILL see this thread.

Howdy Kevin. If you come to visit, make sure to figure out a way to prove to us it’s you.

Also wanted to let you know you are NOT on my 2012 Celebrity Death Pool list, but since that seems to be some kind of life assurance plan for the people I put it on, perhaps I should reconsider.

I just wanted to say that everytime I see the ‘kosher bacon is great’ thread, my little pea-brain sees it as ‘Kevin Bacon is great’, and I think, yeah, yeah he is…

I just noticed that earlier, Quasi mentioned Kevin Bacon’s appearance on NPR’s “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!”, and TreacherousCretin never got an answer about when he was on. So here you go: Kevin Bacon played the “Not My Job” segment on June 4, 2011, garnering laughs and critical acclaim.

Well, definitely laughs, anyway.

Here’s the audio, and the transcript of his segment. Enjoy.
