hello

No goats. No calamari, either. :: noddle ::

You do have to watch out for The Goatee, though. It got loose last week and there was no end of trouble.

Wow, Strawberry?!? I didn’t think anyone lived there! Man, I’m glad to see we’ve got a Doper there now!

(I went to school in Prescott, and have family in Payson).

Tripler
Man, I feel good now!

Welcome zippity from a fellow Aussie. Even though my location says Auckland, in two weeks I’ll be in Brisbane.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it here.

Well, then, as you know, Payson is just 25 miles down the hill from us. We lived there briefly when we first moved to Arizona in '92, after being “quaked” out of Big Bear over in SoCal, then we discovered this little piece of heaven that we share, now, with almost 300 other hidden mountain valley dwellers. Depending on how long it’s been since you’ve visited, you might not recognize Payson… especially the real estate prices. That town has really grown up just since we’ve been here. They built a 90-mile 4-lane highway all the way up the mountain from Phoenix, and it seems that everyone who didn’t want to drive all the way to Prescott, Sedona or Flagstaff decided to go there. Progress…

Don’t know if you’re still in Afghanistan, Tripler, but either way, thank you for your service to your country, and stay safe!
