Help! A request: tenor saxophone part for the melody of this enka song.

Hello everyone. I will be playing tenor saxophone along with the melody of this enka (Japanese ballad) song in a performance soon. By along I mean I should be playing the same pitches. Up or down an octave doesn’t really matter as long as it’s in range of course. You see, the problem is I am not a very skilled musician so I am having a dog of a time figuring out the exact notes and corresponding fingerings for the part simply by ear. The good news is I will only need to memorize the intro and maybe 8-10 bars after that.

My request is really for any help you can give me. Key signatures, fingerings, etc. I have figured out the starting measure, but after that… not yet. To make matters worse, I haven’t played tenor saxophone in quite some time, so while my tone has held up, everything has gotten mixed up with all the years I played clarinet. I seem to recall the saxophone is simpler in that both main octaves are the same whereas in the clarinet they were different. In any case… oh dear.

Worst comes to worst I will spend every waking minute the next few days hammering this out by ear to the best of my ability, but if there are musician and/or saxophone proficionados out there, please accept this humble request for help. Oh, and if it helps here is a link to a MIDI version which I believe is in the same key as the linked Youtube version: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1340790/jojoka-m/tsugaruno.mp3

Sorry I know this is a tall order, but anything will be a great help. Onegai shimasu!
