Help me identify this easy listening melody...

…So I can get it out of my head!

The song was originally recorded (I think) in the Sixties. It’s in six eight; the vamp consists mostly of half notes, starting with an eighth note grace note, then (if I have the right key) D, C, B, G (actually a quarter and eighth on the G), Bb, A, G, F… and so on ad nauseum. I guess it’s not that bad of a tune, as far as easy listening goes, but I’ve had it running through my head for two days. Hopefully, knowing the title will help me get it out of my head and on to better things, like self-dentistry or whatnot.

I think Bela Fleck and the Flecktones recorded it with a harmonica taking melody, but I’m not sure, and I don’t want to hold it against them.

It’s the theme to “Midnight Cowboy” by John Barry.

Thanks.
