I downloaded AOL instant messenger to chat with my daughter a year or so ago, but we prefer to use ICQ.
Problem is, the program installed an icon on my screen’s menu bar and I can’t get rid of it. I’ve trashed everything AOL that I can find, but the icon persists.
Any advice on how to get rid of that little sucker would be greatly appreciated.
My computer is a mac (iMac).
No pc type smart cracks, please.
Peace,
mangeorge
In your Extensions folder should be a file called “AIM Menu”. There’s your culprit. Trash that mutha! Your problem should be gone.
Oh, of course, you’ll have to reboot after trashing it.
That did it, Anamorphic. Thanks a billion.
