Okay, how shall I put this…
For a certain party this Friday night, a group of us ladies are dressing as Sweet Potato Queens (www. sweetpotatoqueens.com). Part of the outfit includes long, pink gloves. So my friend (oddly enough, the one who wanted to know about gluten in ejaculate) decided to use some RIT dye and make us all gloves. This she did. She did not, however, wash the gloves before tossing them into the dryer to dry. (She did rinse them.) Suffice to say that the inside of her formerly white dryer is now pink. She has once again asked me to turn to the wisdom that is Straight Dope.
What do you all suggest to remove this stain? She is concerned about it transfering to other clothes. Personally, I think once she does a few loads, it will be harmless but in the meantime, she should just dry things like big blue towels or something. Any suggestions?
Tibs.
