Okay. I have this coworker who is sincerely one of the nicest people I have ever met, but recently he has been asking me to join up with him in “Team National”. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is just another multi level marketing scheme, but I can’t find any information on the internet.
So, I turn to the collective intellegencia of the Straight Dope.
What is the scoop on these guys?
Has anyone had any experience with this program, and what should I expect IF i decide to hop in?

Yep, that’s the place.
I can’t seem to get any answers about exactly what the company does. From what I’ve gleaned so far, you buy a “Package” for a certain ammount that entitles you to savings on various merchandise from companies that National has teamed up with.
Then as you sign up more people you get a percentage everytime they buy something.
Just seems a little fishy to me. My MLM/Amway/Pyramid Scheme radar is blaring off the hook.
