Help! I have the song "Blue" by Eiffel 65 stuck in my head!

Here’s a cure. (It may kill you, but you’ll be cured.)

Hold your nose tightly and recite the following out-loud as fast and as loud as you can:
I am the very model of a modern Major-General,

I’ve information vegetable, animal, and mineral,

I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical,

From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical;

I’m very well acquainted too with matters mathematical,

I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical,

About binomial theorem I’m teeming with a lot o’ news—

With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse…
There was an old woman who swallowed a fly…
I don’t know why she swallowed a fly…
Perhaps she’ll die…

I know a song that’ll get on your nerves. Get on your nerves. Get on your nerves…

The obvious solution for that is Weird Al’s “Gump.”

There’s an awesome cover of it by Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester. Find it. It will cure you.

Whenever I’ve tried listening to a parody to get rid of an earworm, they’ve always mixed and merged into an even more annoying monstrosity in my brain.

“There’s a party in my tummy…so yummy so yummy…”

Songs from my daughter’s favorite show, Yo Gabba Gabba, and another friend started singing at dinner a few hours ago. Beer + girl time

This is the song that doesn’t end,
Yes it goes on and on, my friend.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they’ll continue singing it forever just because
This is the song that doesn’t end,
Yes it goes on and on my friend.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they’ll continue singing it forever just because
This is the song that doesn’t end…

Crap. Now it’s stuck in my head too.

I just stopped in to tell you, I have never heard the song you speak of…but seeing the thread title when you first posted lodged another song called “Jackie Blue” from the 70’s in my head where it’s been for THREE DAYS.

I’m just sayin’.

Blue?

There’s only one way out. Suicide.

nope. the worst is Holly Jolly christmas.

It’s a world of laughter
A world of tears
It’s a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There’s so much that we share
That it’s time we’re aware
It’s a small world after all…

ach, nothing to see here… move along…

Maybe this will kill those earworms…
