I heard a song on the local college radio last weekend that I am having trouble identifying. The playlist they have up on their website claims that no one was DJing for the hour it was on, so it is no help (and I swear I am not hallucinating it).
It was a pretty basic, upbeat indie pop song that sounded recent (or at least in the last decade or two). Mostly guitars, maybe a little keyboard, and a man singing. Pretty clean, not a lot of distortion. It was fluff but cute, that’s why I want to track it down.
The bits of lyrics that I remember are this:
“Then I see your feet, I see your hands, I see your face…” and something about bees buzzing in a field. “Honey for the Soul” was the chorus and was repeated a lot. I thought it might be the title, but am not having any luck on google. The general gist was that the guy was having a bad day or week, but when his girl came around he felt better. Any ideas?
