Help ID this song

Okay this is a bit different than other ID song threads because I can’t remember a single word of the song. The music to the song however I know very well. Here’s the thing, my son is a Missy Elliot fan and has been listening to this song “We Run This” (everyday, all day, for a week), I’ve been telling him that the music is from a song from the 80’s , but I can’t remember what the heck it was. Can anybody help me out?

That’s “Apache,” which you probably remember from the Sugarhill Gang’s version in the early '80s. But it’s been around since the sixties as a pretty influential instrumental.
