Help identify Simpsons episode

Which episode has the song that goes “Geese love ganders, everybody else loves Ned Flanders”?

It was 9F16, “The Front”, the one where Bart & Lisa write an I&S episode and put Grampa’s name on it. The show must have just been short because they just tacked on “The Ned Flanders Show” bit at the end (still pretty funny though!)

Odd, I thought for sure it was one of the “22 Short Stories from Springfield.” I could be wrong (in fact, I wouldn’t doubt it a bit), but could you give me a cite, please?

I thought it was from “22 Short Films About Springfield,” too. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, though.

It’s definitely from The Front. If you look here and scroll down near the bottom, you’ll see that the very last thing that happens in the episode is Ned Flanders starring in “Love That God”, which includes the “geese love ganders” song, as well as Rod and Tod not going to church today because it’s Saturday.

22 Short Films About Springfield, another of the finest episodes ever made, includes the Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel song, and hints at (but does not produce) Professor Frink’s theme song, but has no Ned Flanders song.

Ah! I am bested.

Err, if I may respectfully disagree. To wit:

“Professor Frink, Professor Frink! He’ll make you laugh, he’ll make you think. He likes to run, and then the thing… with the… person…”

Quite the theme song, indeed.

last line is :

“Ooh boy. that monkey’s going to pay!”
