Help identify this song (lots of lyrics)

Ok, I already posted one thread about this, but it sank like a stone because I had almost no information about it. But I heard the song again, and wrote down a bunch of lyrics, so I hope someone can help this time, because my Google-fu is not helping me this time.

Here is what I wrote in my last thread: “I heard it on DMX Station 89, College Rock. It starts with a simple woodwind phrase, five or six notes long. I don’t think it’s a clarinet, it could be an oboe, but I’m not sure. It seemed to end suddenly, instead of fading out.” It made me think of the Postal Service a little bit.

If I have to, I will call up DMX and hassle them until theye either tell me what it is (I have the time and station it played on) or until they send me the entire playlist of the College Rock station. I have to have this song.

I don’t think so, but thanks anyway. I did end up calling DMX, and the girl told me that she’d be able to tell me what it was if I called within an hour of hearing it, so next time I hear it, I’m calling right away.

Something by Death Cab for Cutie, maybe? It has their style, also reminds me of Fuel and Damien Rice, lyrically.
