I heard a song while I was working yesterday, but I couldn’t stop and listen to it to hear lyrics to Google, but I was hoping you all could help me.
I heard it on DMX Station 89, College Rock. It starts with a simple woodwind phrase, five or six notes long. I don’t think it’s a clarinet, it could be an oboe, but I’m not sure. Possible lyrics are something about someone who “came back alone” and something about someone who couldn’t stay (this part was in the chorus). It seemed to end suddenly, instead of fading out.
I know this isn’t much to go on, but any help would be appreciated.
