There was a popular song in the early seventies, when I was a kid, that I loved. I can remember bits and pieces, but I don’t know the title or performer. I’d like to try to buy a copy, but I can’t identify it.
Goes something like this:
I told you once before,
now I won’t tell you no more,
so get down, get down, get down.
You’re a bad doll baby,
and I don’t want you around, around,
no, I don’t want you around,
Once upon a time,
I drank a little wine,
was as happy as can be,
happy as can be.
Now I’m just like a cat on a hot tin roof,
baby, what do you think you’re doing to me!
