My company’s internet access is filtered such that anything that hints of sports is inaccessible. One exception is Reuters news sports page, but it sucks and has no scores.
Anyone know of a site that let’s one see baseball scores, without tripping bells and whistles?
Thanks.

Not sure if this thread belongs in CS or in GQ, please move accordingly. Thanks.
Without knowing the specific filters enabled by your employer, it’d be hard for us to guess what would work. You may be able to get scores via a local newspaper site or Google News.
Just keep in mind that you are attempting to circumvent your employer’s internet access policies. If they’re filtering and blocking, they’re probably also monitoring and logging.
I doubt it’s illegal to foil your company’s internet use policies, but neither is getting someone to help you with your homework. Isn’t this against board rules?
Easiest thing to do is get cable or DSL at home with a static IP address. Set it up for a VPN and access your home computer from work. Bada Bing Bada Bang.
OP here-
No homework involved here - just a working stiff who wanted the Yankees-Twins score while the game was on.
Turns out someone had a radio in a lab that could receive AM despite all the fluorescent lights.
Local newspaper sites don’t carry real-time scores.
I think they use one of those subscription services where if your URL is in the list it gets squashed; it is only active during standard work hours.
Can’t get a static IP address from my internet provider (Cablevision of Long Island, quick but expensive). They use DHCP. Great idea though.
